Fawn Mckay

Fawn Brodie McKay born 15 September 1915 was born within Ogden Utah. Fawn MacKay who was a Mormon belonging to the Church of the Latter-Day Saints' original family has fused her amazing ability to write and her remarkable abilities to research in order to produce the brilliant, psychohistorical biographical work, No Man knows My History, which was released in 1945. This title is derived from a funeral sermon delivered by the founder of the Church of Latter-Day Saints in 1844 when he startled his listeners by declaring"You don't know me" You've never met my heart. No one knows about my past. No one knows my history. Wrote the 29-year old Fawn at the time: Ever since the moment when he spoke, at least three-score writers have joined in the fight. Some have deified and abused his character, whereas others attempt to identify the issue. The problem isn't it's that the documents aren't sufficient, instead, they're completely inconsistent. It is a difficult task to organize these records in order to discern firsthand narratives from the third-hand versions and combine Mormon and non Mormon narratives together into a coherent mosaic. It is fascinating and informative. That's the mission to which Fawn Brodie dedicated herself professionally. Her writings and research helped bring her international fame: Thaddeus Stephens. Scourge of the South (1959) The Devil Drives. Thomas Jefferson. A Personal History of Richard Nixon (1974), in posthumously.
